Ronnies Motors Commercial Vehicles East London awarded Daimler Truck Southern Group of  Companies’ 2023 Overall Dealer of the Year.

  • Ronnies Motors reigns supreme as the 2023 Overall Daimler Truck Southern Africa Dealer of the Year, in addition to walking away with 2 other awards on the night.
  • DTSA recognises its dealers and general distributors  for a stellar 2023 performance across all its brands.

PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA – On  9  March  2024,  Daimler  Truck  Southern  Africa  hosted  its Dealer of the Year awards,  to recognise dealers and general distributors for their 2023 performance. The theme for the awards evening was fortune favours the brave, to commend dealers and general distributors for demonstrating bravery and emerging victorious in 2023. As a result, Mercedes-Benz Trucks maintained its market leadership position in the Extra Heavy Commercial Vehicle segment, while sustained growth was recorded for FUSO Trucks, Mercedes-Benz Buses, TruckStore and Daimler Truck Financial Services.

Twelve awards across seven award categories were handed out at the exclusive gala dinner, with the most sought-after award of the evening, the 2023 Overall Dealer of the Year award being won by Ronnies Commercial Vehicles East London.

In addition and for the first time, Ronnies Motors Commercial Vehicles, being the 2023 Overall Dealer Of The Year, is also recognised as the Daimler Truck Overseas (DTO) EliteClass winner for Southern Africa and will represent our region at the Global EliteClub Awards in Germany, later in 2024. The DTO EliteClub global partner recognition programme aims to appreciate and award the highest performance across the entire DTO network, including regional centres: Australia, Central Africa, Latina, Middle East & Africa, Southern Africa and East Asia, for being one of the pillars for sustainable success.
